NOTE: Legacy PeopleSoft machines built before June 2004 may have Norton AntiVirus version 7.61 or Symantec AntiVirus version 8.0.x. Those versions are both standard on those machines, and do not have to upgraded. An organized software upgrade of those machines will occur Q3, 2004.

WARNING: If you have a working version of antivirus software DO NOT UNINSTALL it unless you are specifically told to do so. If you are not sure if it is working, open a NorthStar ticket.

At this time, all AntiVirus software is being delivered via an SMS package. If you need to have the package delivered to your machine, open a NorthStar ticket. Be sure to include your computer name (see Eureka! document 55002 — How to find out your computer's name) in the ticket. Also, give a reason as to why you need to install the software.
