My Resources Dashboard in Resource Management
The My Resources dashboard can only been seen by Global Services Managers. The dashboard contains the information of your direct reports or your organizational structure only. You cannot add other resources, even if you are authorized to view the resources' information while their regular manager is out of the office. You can view the information of any resources by going directly to Monthly Schedules or Review Profiles and entering in a search parameter.
Note: The dashboard may take a while to load. Please be patient. If your dashboard times, out, click here for possible fixes.
The number of resources you may see on the list at one time is 5. This number cannot be changed.

You can customize the appearance and contents of your dashboard. To get to the Options, click on the Dashboard Options link on the left side of the screen. You are taken to the Dashboard Options choices.
Resource Selection Option: This determines which resources based on your department that you can see. You can see just your direct reports (Resources | Supervise), or you can see all the resources whose manager reports to your manager (Organization Structure). Generally, the Resources | Supervise option is more meaningful, as it contains a list of just your direct reports. NOTE: It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you keep the Resources | Supervise option for server performance reasons. If choose the other option, it may cause your My Resource Dashboard to time out. Click here for information about what to do if your My Resource dashboard times out.
Number of Days: This number helps to determine the color code next to a resource's name. It is the threshold number of days before an assignment ends that will trigger a color and symbol change next to the resource's name. Assignments ending within the threshold number of work days from the current day are flagged as assignments ending.
Format Job Fit Alert: This option will allow you to see jobs that are a good fit for your direct reports or the deployable resources on your resource list. Depending on the number of people on that list, choosing this option may slow down the loading of your dashboard, or possibly cause it to time out. Click here for information about what to do if your My Resource dashboard times out.
Score: This number is the lowest threshold for the the Fit Score that you would like to see for open assignments for a resource. If the Fit Score is equal to or higher than the threshold number, a green exclamation mark appears. The recommended number to use is .60 (the number must be between 0.01 and 0.99).
If you accidentally uncheck this option, go to the top of the Dashboard screen. There is a series of links (called "breadcrumbs") across the top of the screen. Click on the Dashboard link. Then click on My Resources Options so that you can enter a checkmark next to the Navigation Menu option.
Chart Resource Schedules: At this time, you can choose to have only one chart appear at the bottom of your dashboard. It shows graphically what the schedule of your resources looks like. It shows where they are "committed" and where they are "overbooked." Do NOT check the box next to this choice until you have first set up a Report ID/Run Control ID.
