"Monthly Schedules" in Resource Management
Global Services Managers, Customer Managers, Resourcers, and Project Managers may view or update (if permissible) a Deployable Resource's schedule by using the Monthly Schedule feature. However, the Global Services Managers generally cannot access the "My Schedule" link because they are not generally given client assignments.
A deployable resource's schedule determines his or her availability for assignments in the Resource Management system. It cannot be used to report PTO to the HR application. However, PTO days be entered in the calendar as those days can affect availability for assignments. It also does not interface with the Lotus Notes calendar for the scheduling of meetings and other appointments.

Please note the following about schedules :
Note: There is an issue with the weekly view at this time: If there is a repeating event event during the week, only the last day in the week of the repeating event appears in the weekly view. Every day of the repeating event shows up in both the daily and monthly view. There is no ETA on a fix at this time.
If there are no events scheduled on the calendar, when you click on that date, you will be taken to an appointment form to fill in an event.
You can create conflicting entries - you will not receive a warning about any time conflicts.
When entering a new appointment, the Task Categories are largely self-explanatory. For more information about the categories, see Eureka! document 15257 — Categories for the Monthly Schedule in Resource Management. The type of of entry chosen can affect a deployable resource's "Fit Score" for an assignment - certain categories are more flexible than others and will allow a higher Fit Score.
Any saved changes you make to the schedule generates an email notification.
The yellow box in the weekly and monthly views indicates the current date.

How to add an entry to a schedule
Remember that any entries you make to a deployable resource's schedule could affect the deployable resources' Fit Score for a particular project. Follow these steps to add an entry to a deployable resource's schedule:
While in the deployable resource's schedule, click on the date upon which you wish to add an entry.
Make sure you click on the date. If there is an entry on that date already and you click on that, you will end up on the appointment detail screen for that entry. If you do end up on the appointment detail screen, click on the To Daily View link at the bottom of the appointment details screen to get to the Daily View.
If the Appointment Details screen is not already showing, click on the time for which you wish to make an entry.
The format is mm/dd/yyyy. Example: 01/01/2001.
Enter Start Time.
If the duration is in fractional hours, enter a decimal number. For example, a 2-1/2 hour meeting duration would be entered as " 2.5".
Choose a Category for the entry. Remember that the category you choose may affect your availability in different ways.
Enter a Description for the entry.
If the entry is to span several days, enter the repeating information in the Occurrence Information box.
Click the Save button.
You will be taken to a Notification Message page. You may wish to enter a message explaining this schedule change in the Notes box. Click OK to send the message to the appropriate parties.
Your screen will blink and you will see the appointment details screen again. To see the new entry, click on Daily View or Monthly View link.
Your entry is complete and entered on the schedule. The deployable resource should receive an email notification of your change.
