The Job Spy in Resource Management
The Job Spy page enables Deployable Resources and Project Managers to review a list of open assignment that appear to be the best fit for you. From the Job Spy page you can submit, resubmit, or cancel bids for assignments with a click of a mouse. Note that only the Deployable Resource and Project Manager roles may view this page, and only for themselves. Other roles may be able to view available assignments for a deployable resource via Find Assignments for Resource. (For more information about Find Assignments for Resource, see Eureka! document 15252 — Find Assignments for Resource in Resource Management.)

Navigating to the Job Spy page
There are many ways to navigate to the Job Spy page. The instructions below discuss how to get there from the Resource Management Home Page:

You should see the Job Spy page for yourself with a list of the current open jobs and your fit score for them.

Basic information about the Job Spy page
The Job Spy page lists the currently open assignments that are the best match for your interests, skills, and availability. The list changes as new assignments are added, fulfilled, or removed.
The Fit Score is the adjusted score based upon both the needs of the assignment and your own indicated preferences ( for more information about changing your Job Spy preferences, click here.) To see how the fit score was calculated, click on its number. Generally, you should not bid for assignments for which the Fit Score is less than 60+%.

You can view how your Fit Score was calculated for any assignment by clicking on the link for the Fit Score percentage. You will be taken to a Fit Score Explanation page where the calculations for your Fit Score are detailed.
You can change any of the Factors. Note that changing any Factor's Importance will change the importance of that factor for ALL assignments in your Job Spy if you click the Save button. Thus your Fit Score for all assignments could be affected by making changes in just one of the Fit Score Evaluation pages.

Note: Changes you make to your Job Spy Options will change the default values for those options, which will be used to calculate your Fit Score for ALL assignments.
On the Job Spy page, click on the link near the bottom of the page labeled Job Spy Options.
Remember that the higher the number, the longer it takes for Job Spy to run and the more likely you will see assignments that are not a good fit for you.
Note: These Fit Preferences may also be changed when you are viewing your Fit Score Explanation for any assignment. If you change any Factor on the Fit Score Explanation screen, that change will change the default value for that preference and may affect your Fit Score calculations.
Your Job Spy Options should be changed as you have indicated, and your assignment list may change accordingly.

You can put in a bid for an assignment for which you are qualified via the Job Spy. Generally, you should not bid for a assignment for which your Fit Score is less than 60%. Follow these steps:
From the Job Spy page, click on the Details link for the job for which you have a good Fit Score.
Carefully review the information on this page to see if the assignment is one you wish to bid for.
Click on the Submit Bid button at the bottom of the Job Details page to submit a bid for the assignment.
Click Yes on the confirmation page that appears.
If you do not wish to submit a bid, click on the Return to Job Spy link at the bottom of the Job Details page.
Your bid has been submitted. It will be reviewed by a Resource Manager responsible for staffing the position. Your manager may also review your bid.

How to cancel a bid for an assignment using the Job Spy
If you have decided you do not want to bid for an assignment after all, click on the Details page for the assignment. The Submit Bid button has turned into a Cancel Bid button. Click on that button to cancel your bid, and then click Yes on the confirmation screen.
Your bid for the assignment is canceled. The button label is then changed to Resubmit Bid at the bottom of the Details page for that assignment.

Known open assignment not available on Job Spy list
You may have found out about an assignment from another deployable resource. It may seem like you would be a perfect "fit" for the assignment. However, when you look on the Job Spy, you can't find it.
Assignments are not open to all locations immediately. The Resource Specialists (the person "responsible for staffing" an assignment) must open the assignment up to specific geographical locations. Even if you know about an open assignment, it may not show up on your Job Spy until the Resource Specialist opens up the assignment to the area of your office from which you are deployed.
