How to access the Resource Management Home Page and dashboards

Home Page

The Resource Management Home Page looks like this:

All users who have been granted access to Resource Management can navigate to the Resource Management home page using the following steps:

Launch Internet Explorer and log onto Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Applications link on the left hand side of your Planet home page.
Click on the small plus sign to the left of this link.
Choose Resource Management from that list.

If during your current session you wish to return to the Resource Management Home Page, but only see a list of menu items, see Eureka! document 15245 — How to navigate back to the Resource Management Home Page.

There are numerous other ways to get to the Resource Management Home Page. Choose from the following list

PGS Infosphere

To get to Resource Management Home Page from the PGS InfoSphere:

Launch Internet Explorer and log on to Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Communities link on the left hand side of your Planet home page and click on the small plug sign to the left of this link.
Scroll down to PGS InfoSphere and click on that link.
Click on the Administration link on the left side of the screen.
On the far right of the screen, under See Also, you should see a link for Resource Management and another link for Competency Management.

You should be able to navigate to the Resource Management Home Page

Applications link on Planet

From Planet, there is another way to access Resource Management:

Launch Internet Explorer and log on to Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Applications link on the left hand side of your Planet home page and click on it.
Click on Financials (Psynergy/FSCM).
Click on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Applications (Psynergy/FSCM) .
Click on Schedule Resources.
Click on Manage Resources.
Click on Start.
Click on Resource Management Home.

You should be on the Resource Management Home Page.

Dashboards

Click on one of the links below for information on how to get to the dashboard. The different roles have different dashboards:

Deployable resources have a link to My Assignments Dashboard:

Launch Internet Explorer and log on to Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Planet Navigator on the left hand side of your Planet home page.
At the top of the Planet Navigator list is a link for PGS Navigator. Click on the small arrow to the left of this link. A list of links drops down.
Click on the small arrow to the left of the Delivering Solutions link to open the section.
Choose My Assignments Dashboard.

You should be able to see your My Assignments Dashboard.

Global Services Managers - My Resources Dashboard

Global Services Managers have a link to My Resources Dashboard available on the PGS Navigator:

Launch Internet Explorer and log on to Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Planet Navigator on the left hand side of your Planet home page.
At the top of the Planet Navigator list is a link for PGS Navigator. Click on the small arrow to the left of this link. A list of links drops down.
Click Delivering Solutions link to open the section.
Click on Manager Tools.
Choose My Resources Dashboard.

You should be able to see your My Resources Dashboard.

Resource Specialist/SMEs - My Resource Requests Dashboard

Resource Specialists have a link to your My Resource Requests Dashboard:

Launch Internet Explorer and log onto Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Once you have logged in, locate the Planet Navigator on the left hand side of your Planet home page.
At the top of the Planet Navigator list is a link for PGS Navigator. Click on the small arrow to the left of this link. A list of links drops down.
Click on the small arrow to the left of the Delivering Solutions link to open the section.
Choose My Resource Requests Dashboard.

You should be able to see your My Resource Requests Dashboard.
