If you have been granted access to Competency Management, you can log on using the following steps:

1. Launch Internet Explorer and log onto Planet PeopleSoft. For more information, see Eureka! document 15270 — How to log on to Planet PeopleSoft.

2. Once you have logged in, locate the Planet Navigator on the left hand side of your Planet home page.

3. Scroll down until you locate the Applications link and click on the small arrow to the left of this link.  A list of application links drops down.

4. Scroll down until you locate Human Resources Self-Service (HRMS) and click once. This should log you into the HRMS database.

5. Click on the Self-Service link to open it.

6. Click on the Employee link to open it.

• If you are a manager approving a direct report's competencies, click on Manager.

7. Click on Tasks.

Competency Management items appear on the tasks list.
