Do not have the "Send To" feature in Microsoft Office products

Document number: 15170

Note: This resolution is for legacy PeopleSoft machines only. It cannot be used on legacy J.D. Edwards machines.

The difficulty you are experiencing is that when in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access, you click on the File menu, you do not see a Sen d To option OR you don't see a Sen d To-> M ail Recipient (as Attachment)... option.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Close all Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  2. Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.
  3. Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.

  4. Scroll until you see the entry Microsoft Office - All Versions and double-click on the entry to open it.

  5. Scroll down that page until you see the button labeled Mail Enabled Office.

  6. Click on that button and wait for the installation process to finish.

Once the installation process is complete, you should see the Sen d To option appear.

For information on using the Send To feature, see Eureka! document 15164 — How to email a file from Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
