Using a foreign language dictionary in Microsoft PowerPoint
Foreign language dictionaries in Microsoft PowerPoint allow you to select the language in which you want your presentations to be spell checked. The default language is English (United States). Click on the information you would like about foreign language use in Microsoft PowerPoint:
How to spell check a part of or an entire presentation in another language
To spell check part of a presentation or a single presentation without changing your default language spell checking language, follow these steps:
To spell check a portion of a presentation with a different language, select the passage of text you would like spell checked in another language by holding down the left mouse button and dragging your mouse over the area of text.
Click on the Tools menu, and then on Language...
The selected text will be spell checked using your chosen language. The rest of your presentation will be spell checked using your default language.

How to set the default spell checker to another language
Follow these steps to set your spell checker to spell check all of your presentations in one of the supported languages. Not all languages are supported.
The current and all new presentations created after the change will be spell checked using your chosen language, if that language support has been loaded.
