How to add a database icon to the Lotus Notes workspace
Each time a database is opened in Lotus Notes, an icon will be added to the workspace. Co-workers are the best resource to find out which databases should be added to your workspace.
If a database does not already appear on the workspace, it can be added by using the Domain Catalog. The Domain Catalog can be used to find a database and then add the icon or open the database directly from there. For additional information, see Eureka! document 10059 — How to find a database in Lotus Notes.
If the database does exist on the workspace, additional replicas will need to be added by doing the following:
The icon for the database from the additional server will now appear on the workspace. If the database does not exist on the server that was specified, the message "No replica of this database found on the specified server" will appear.
Stacking replica icons on the workspace is the easiest way to find the replicas and to keep the workspace orderly. For additional information, see Eureka! document 10057 — How to stack icons in the Lotus Notes workspace.
