In order to verify the installation of your SMS 2003 Advanced client, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.

2. You should see these three icons in the listing within the Control Panel, which are delivered when the SMS 2003 Advanced Client is installed:

   • Program Download Monitor

   • Run Advertised Programs

   • Systems Management

Alternately, you may look at your Services to see if the "SMS Agent Host" service is installed:

1. Click Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, and select Services.

2. In the "Name" column, a SMS Agent Host service is created when SMS 2003 Advanced Client is installed, and the "Status" should show Started.

If you do not see all three of the icons above in your Control Panel, or the Service is not in the Services list, the SMS client is not installed or not installed properly. To install SMS, see Eureka! document 14110 — SMS advertised programs are not received or not installing.
