OMPD - Getting to the License Profile View

Document number: 11710

The Enterprise1 and World client profile records have been converted into the FMS license profile system. Because the requirements for the legacy J.D. Edwards products are slightly different than those of Enterprise products a few modifications have been made to the screens.

The main change you will see is that information is stored at the CPU level, rather than a suite as in the Enterprise products. When the license profile screen is called up for a customer you will see a tab that says CPU Level Profile. If this tab is yellow it indicates that there is data at the CPU level, indicating legacy JDE products.

Once on the CPU level screen there is also a new field called SIN. This number is from the C1 system and is the site ID number. This data is needed because the software may be installed at multiple locations of a customer and the SIN will refer the user to the actual location.
