To resolve issues regarding SPC/Authorization codes for World or OneWorld®

If you are using the OneWorld fat client, you should be able to click on a "get authorization code" option. This auto-populates the new code and you can continue working. If there are any problems, create a NorthStar ticket to Op Apps Mgmt Group to resolve the issue.

For stand-alone versions, OneWorld® Standalone SPC codes can be obtained online through the Knowledge Garden. This way, your installed version of Standalone can be updated so that you automatically obtain Software Protection Codes. 

Go to the KG and select Product, then Software Engineering, then Engineering Services, then Self Help, then Instructions & Setup, then SPC Codes.

If you cannot access the SPC code install or the install fails, call Customer Support GSS:

• In the UK call +44 1494682700 and ask for the response line.
• In North and South America call 1-800-289-2999 and ask for contracts (x45928).

Users need to have the AS/400 serial number (for World Software) and their address book number when they call.
