In PS Version Control (PSVER), if a highlighted application's environment can be set and the application launched without your having to log out and back into the network, the Launch Now button is available.

If the Launch Now button is not available (greyed out, or unlit), you can do one of two things:

1. Double-click on the application you want to launch. This sets the environment for the application (the Current Process Status field at the bottom of the window indicates what is happening), and then either launches the application if possible, or logs you out of the network if necessary. If you are logged out, you will be able to use the Launch Now button once you log back in again.

2. Click on the Full Config with Logoff button. This configures your computer's environment, then closes down all applications and logs you off the network. When you log back on again, the Launch Now button should be available.
