Vantive errors for incorrectly defined port number or Vantive server name

The following Vantive errors occur when you have an incorrectly defined port number or Vantive server name.

Failed to connect to remote machine...TCP Port 0. Possibly incorrect hostname or port number
(Servername) is not a recognized server name
Login has failed. Client is unable to connnect to the server program. Server: ( Servername) Port: (#) Version: 5

To resolve this, define the correct server and port through the Options button:

Click on the Options button on the Vantive login screen.
Under the Server tab, confirm that the Server name is defined as vantive.
Also confirm that the Server port is defined as 4070.
Click on OK to save your changes and return to the login screen.

You should now be able to login successfully to Vantive.
